In 2005 Perry achieved another notable milestone in his remarkable life with the publication of his compelling autobiography Still Standing which sold out in less than six months.

His story of optimism, courage and determination is encapsulated in its very title, although he is completely paralysed from the neck down and totally wheelchair bound.

Still Standing takes the reader into Perry's own mind from the time of his accident through his years of struggle for survival.  It tells of his fears and disappointments, his feelings and emotions, his struggles and triumphs directly from the mouth of a writer who is unable to lift a pen or make a single tap of a keyboard.

With the same skill, courage and determination that enabled him to complete a Communications (Business) Degree at Bond University, Perry dictated the book from his wheelchair, telling his own story straight from the heart.
